Orphanage Volunteers needed for 1 to 3 months
Opportunity Description: Project Summary : Tanzania is one of the African country highly affected by poverty, HIV/AIDS and lack of opportunities creating great number of orphans and street children. These kids needs immediate help and support. Info Tanzania has been helping more than 1200 orphans just from the volunteer programme fees. Small portion of your programme fee will go diretly to these orphans. Orphanage work is a great project to share your love, passion, and help as it goes to people who need it the most. You can do it today! SKILL/QUALIFICATION: There are no specific qualifications needed! However, volunteers are expected to be flexible and patient! VOLUNTEERS RESPONSIBILITIES: As a volunteer in the INFO Tanzania orphanage project, you will teach English (3-4 hours a day) in the orphanage or school (when the kids go to schools during the day). You will help kids to stay clean by helping them in brushing teeth, shower, and personal hygiene, organize games, drawing, singing, dancing, and other creative education and extra curricular activities, help kids to do homework, monitor academic progress, and make sure kids complete their next day's homework, dressing of kids, food distribution, kitchen, garden, cleaning and administrative work. ROOM/FOOD : INFO Tanzania arranges room, food, and supervision for volunteers from the start to the end of your program. During first week of language and cultural program, volunteers stay in our hostel in Arusha . During volunteering period, volunteers stay in host family. However, volunteers joining the orphanage project will stay within the orphanage compound in few cases. We arrange a separate double or single room and a shared bath for volunteers both in host family and in the residential orphanage settings. No body does as we do! While placing volunteers in orphanages also we supports orphans to acquire necessary education and healthy food.

Teaching Volunteers needed for 3 to 6 months
Opportunity Description: PROJECT SUMMARY Native English speakers are highly needed here to teach English in any level of education including primary, nursery or secondary education with ages ranging from 5 yrs to 16 yrs. In additional you will be teaching English to teachers, students, village leaders and education leaders. As soon as you join us you will feel very needed! SKILL/QUALIFICATION No specific qualification needed to join the teaching English project. However, volunteers are expected to be fluent in English. Teaching experience will be helpful (but not required) . ROLE OF VOLUNTEERS in all our teaching projects, volunteers will primarily work as English instructor either in private schools or public school or schools run by orphanages. You will mostly teach English 2-3 hours a day (six days a week) in primary, secondary, and high school. In additional you will also be helping in administration, organizing games, drawing, singing, dancing, and other creative education and extra curricular activities

Medical Volunteers needed for 3 to 6 months
Opportunity Description: Project Summary Info Tanzania founder did a research titled 'A critical investigation on the Knowledge Management in the Tanzanian Healthcare sector' and recognized that there is great need for volunteers to be placed in both rural and urban hospitals. Tanzanian has thousands of hospitals with very low qualified doctors and even the helpers-most rural clinics are understaffed. As a volunteer you will be working either supervised by qualified doctor or work alone if you are qualified. Our hospitals needs Pre-medics, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students, retired and qualified doctors to join our volunteering programs. We are ready to partner with medical schools to place their students in our hospitals for internship or practical studies. No body do as we do! SKILL/QUALIFICATION No specific qualifications needed! We accept all including pre-medics, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students, retired officers and qualified doctors of all background. VOLUNTEERS RESPONSIBILITIES: As a volunteer working either in rural or urban hospitals you will be either involved in one of these tasks: taking weight, blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, making beds, cleaning, and participate in very special duties such as small operations, injections, cleaning wounds, work in consultation rooms and join specialized departments such as assisting doctors in different duties including leading or heading mentally or disable children specialized hospitals. In additional we do place retired medical worker or those in vacations and would like to work in Africa in any department of their choice such as X-ray departments, Physiotherapy departments, etc.

HIV/AIDS Volunteers needed for 1 to 3 months
Opportunity Description: Project Summary For the past 10 years, Tanzania has been hit strongly by HIV/AIDS, and is responsible for the thousands of deaths. Regardless of great efforts been made by local and international organizations in fighting HIV/AIDS still there are need to increase the efforts. Volunteers are needed to join local organization in fighting HIV/AIDS spread and comforting those affected SKILL/QUALIFICATION No specific qualifications needed! However, volunteers are expected to be flexible and patient, ready for great travels and visiting affected homes, running seminars, etc. VOLUNTEERS RESPONSIBILITIES: As a volunteer in the INFO Tanzania HIV/AIDS project, you will join and participate in running HIV/AIDS testing, counseling, and an awareness campaigns in Tanzania. In additional volunteers will participate in giving care and support to the HIV infected, while creating awareness to vulnerable groups about the dangers of HIV/Aids through HIV/Aids outreach programs. Volunteers will be visiting patients in their homes, helping with medical care and food, conducting lessons to educate people on the dangers of HIV and how to prevent themselves from getting infected. Our program is organized in collaboration with Government institutions, NGOs, and community based organization CBOs who are working very closely with the communities and HIV/Aids patients.
